So, it’s official… little baby Hummingbird is here! Wendy and James’ newest acquisition, Callista Danell Coulter, came into the world on August 23rd, 2008 at 3:43am. After a daunting 29 hours of labor (yikes! -I guess all Coulters are a little hard-headed 
), Callie made her debut weighing in at 6lbs. and measuring 19″ long. Wendy, James and Callie are all home now and doing excellent!
We all miss Wendy around the office but are all so happy for her and her new family. Before Wendy had Callie, we all made jokes saying that Wendy is so dedicated to her work that she would be emailing us while she was in labor. Needless to say, that didn’t happen. Although, I knew Wendy couldn’t resist Hummingbird for too long… I got a few emails from her this week and noticed she’s still updating the “Baby Coulter” Web site at http://www.babyhomepages.net/coulterbaby. Callie is pretty much the smallest, most adorable, precious little baby I have ever seen! (Hey, I have to suck up a little, I have a review coming up!)
Other than that, the rest of the Hummingbird staff is holding down the fort while Wendy is out. Sandy has been working on some RFPs and we are all pitching in to help. I wrote a few case studies this week, one for The Big Bad Ball and one for Stockton Graham & Co. Thanks to those of you who helped me gather all the info!
